Best Practice Models in the area of Social Inclusion

II. Main objective
The main objective is to increase social inclusion by promoting transnational methods of best practice in the area of social economy and solidarity.
III. Specific objectives
- To increase by 70% the capacity of all the members of the transnational partnership to collaborate with other European partners in order to initiate and develop innovative projects in the area of social inclusion during the length of the project (36 months);
- Raising, during a 32 months period of the project, by 60% the level of knowledge of best practices which are already implemented in the area of social inclusion in Europe;
- Developing the competencies and abilities by 80% of 200 members of the transnational partnership in the area of social inclusion during the 20 months period of the project.
IV. Main activities
- Forming a think-tank group in the area of social inclusion which will analyze the national politics as well as the European politics regarding social inclusion and will participate in the identification and analyzing of best practices
- Developing the European Network for Promoting the Transfer of Competencies in the area of Social Inclusion, with the emphasis on social solitary economy.
- Creating a Guide of the Best Practices in the area of social inclusion, with an emphasis on initiatives in de area of social solitary economy
- Forming 8 Local Groups of Initiative for promoting projects in the area of social inclusion
- Developing the training curriculum called “Practical methods of interventions in the area of social inclusion”:
- Organizing 8 sessions to train a minimum of 120 participants
- Initiating and organizing field trips in France, Italy, Belgium, and Great Britain for at least 80 people
- Developing a portfolio of 8 innovative projects in the area of social inclusion which will be implemented by the Local Groups of Initiative
- Offering consultancy to the members of the transnational partnership which are willing to develop innovative projects in the area of social inclusion. The consultancy will include: strategic planning, juridical advice, social marketing, socio-professional integration of marginalized people
- Mentoring and social coaching from the European experts for the members of the partnership in the process of developing innovative projects in the area of social inclusion.
V. Geographical area of work
8 places in the following counties: Timis, Arad (Western Region), Cluj, Bihor (North-West Region), Iasi (North-East), Sibiu (Central Region), Bucharest.
VI. Responsibilities of Partner Integra Association of Romania
- To participate in the think-tank group in the area of social inclusion which will analyze the national politics as well as the European politics regarding social inclusion and will participate in the identification and analyzing of best practices
- To participate as a trainer in the training called “Practical methods of interventions in the area of social inclusion”;
- To offer consultancy for those members who will initiate and develop projects in the area of social inclusion.
VII. Duration of the project
The project’s length is 40 months, starting July 2010.
VIII. Financing the project
The finances of this project had been secured through the Regional Operational Program Developing Human Resources (Programul operativ sectorial dezvoltarea resurselor umane – AMPOSDRU) 2007-2013.
